Life is not as I had ever known it, it is instead…. what I always wished it would be.
A young girl who transformed many times in such a short time but always wishing for the same thing, for love to find her…not just any love, the love that would last a lifetime. She had to believe it was true, she had to trust that it didn’t just happen in the movies…for her soul was ever searching and ever cut in half. She knew that one day that love would find her, it had to or what was this life for?
She went on many soul searching quests, always left short…always left in pools of her tears. Each time she thought she was so close, each time heart heart broke a little more until she was sure the last time there was nothing left to break.
Everything used to inspire her, she used to think that the moon spoke to her, that the stars were trying to tell her something and that when the wind blew the trees were comforting her…they were telling her that her search would not be in vain…they were telling her to stop searching that he was on his way to her. She lay in the grass and lost herself in the cloudless sky bathing in the light the stars cast down upon her…she knew he was out there…he had to be.
Moon after moon she would sit out in the rain, the snow , the hot nights and the long nights…putting herself out into the universe so that he could sense her. She met every pair of passing eyes hoping to catch a glimpse, hoping he would SEE her.
She asked for one thing and one thing only whenever she spoke to her Moon, that he love her as much as she loved him. Nothing less nothing more, to be loved uncondtionally by the one that she most adored. Whomever that might be.
Years passed and she met the eyes of many who would not be her match, each one taking a small piece of her heart and her hope away. Everyone else in her life had settled or found someone to share thier lives with and yet she waited. She waited for the “one” she knew he was out there and she would not settle for anything but that whom she waited for. She knew a life alone was better than life with the wrong dream. So she waited, many others began to feel she would spend life alone waiting for a dream to come true. She knew different…he HAD to be out there.
Her heart felt the sharp pains of loneliness many nights, her soul ached for companionship…and yet she waited. Still talking to her Moon, still wishing on every star…
and then, he was there.
She didnt even know it at first…she was blind to what was right infront of her. She had been so jaded, wallowing so deep in despair that she could not see he was right infront of her with a watchful eye. He was quiet and unassuming, he could hide in the shadows well. She did not usually look there in the shadows…until one day out of no where she saw him…she had talked to him and been around him for months but this was the first time she SAW him…and from then on her life was magick…he was delivered to her, everything she had asked for.
Life was different now, She was different now…she couldnt look at people the same, she couldnt act the same, something in her had changed. She was living before him but after him she was…Alive.
The Moon had heard her and the stars twinkled granting her wish…the universe finally came together, for Love. Love that is undying, love that is nconditional, love that is not only in the movies… love that is real and happening every minute of every day. Love that I not only share with him but the world. I can not find hate in my heart for there is only love, I repay my gift of love by loving whenever and wherever I can.
Love yourself, Love each other…just Love.
