I have only been Painting for about 7 years now, my how the time has gone by! I have however been doodling and drawing ever since I can remember picking up my first crayon.
I will sit down with my sketchbook and much like when I am painting Time seems to stand still. I will have been sitting for literally 7 or 8 hours just drawing or painting and it will have felt like I just sat down a inute ago. It is as if I enter some Phantom zone and there is nothing in the world but me and my pencil, or me and my brush. I can not stop until I am finished and I wont feel finished until I have painted 4 or 5 paintings if only getting them started to finish them the next day or depending on the work sometimes it takes weeks… but I generally start on 4 or 5 at a time.
When I am drawing it is the same, I can be working on one drawing and 3 hours will have gone by, it never ceases to amaze me when I look up to see the time.
